We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team. The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations, maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the property, managing staff schedules, and ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for guests and team members alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff including room attendants, housepersons, and laundry personnel.
- Develop daily work schedules and assign duties to ensure efficiency and attention to detail.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces regularly to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage inventory and order housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment as needed.
- Work closely with the front office and maintenance departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, hotel policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare and manage the housekeeping department budget, including labor costs and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of payroll, inspections, maintenance needs, and performance evaluations.
- Lead departmental meetings and provide ongoing training and development for housekeeping staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or business management degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with housekeeping systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and cleaning best practices.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
