Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, utilizing multi-line phone systems to handle inquiries.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest experiences.
- Handle reservations and modifications accurately while maintaining detailed records in the hotel management system.
- Assist with night audit tasks as required, ensuring all financial transactions are processed correctly.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, adhering to company standards of hospitality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in front desk operations or customer service within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of hotel management software and night audit procedures is an advantage.
