The Manhattan Super 8 now has a part time job opening available for our front desk team. We are looking for an energetic person to work our evening shift (3pm-11pm). Job Description:
Greets, accommodates, and assist guests in check in and check out
Issues room key and provides room location information
Directs incoming mail and messages
Transmits and receives telephone messages for guests and other hotel departments
Computes bill, collects payment, and makes change for guests
Make and confirms reservations
Post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone to ledger
Deposits guests’ valuables in hotel safe or safe deposit box
Maintains cash drawers and change bank for all hotel departments
Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
Makes restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservation and arranges for tours
Communicates with Housekeeping department about guest room status
