Housekeeper: full-time & part-time available

The Super 8 by Wyndham seeks full-time and part-time Housekeepers to join their hotel team in Houghton, Michigan.

Housekeepers are the heart of a great hotel stay. You help create clean, calm, and comfortable spaces where guests can relax, recharge, and feel right at home. If you take pride in your work and enjoy seeing the immediate results of a job well done, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

• Clean guest rooms and common areas, including beds, floors, bathrooms, windows, and mirrors.
• Restock supplies and ensure rooms are fresh, comfortable, and guest-ready.
• Use cleaning products safely and follow proper procedures.
• Keep your supply cart organized and fully stocked.
• Report maintenance, safety, or equipment issues promptly.
• Document and secure lost-and-found items.
• Help conserve energy in unoccupied rooms.
• Provide friendly, professional interactions with guests.
• Assist the front desk with guest requests as needed.
• Work collaboratively with teammates and stay informed on hotel operations.

WHAT WE OFFER. Starting wage of $15.00 – $15.50 per hour based on your experience.

SCHEDULE. Full-time and part-time positions available generally working 8:30am – 3:00pm, depending on hotel occupancy.

We’re a 24/7/365 operation, so flexibility is important. Weekend availability is required—while you won’t be expected to work every weekend, there may be times during busy periods when you are needed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Experience in housekeeping, sanitation, laundry, or guest services is a plus—but not required.
• You take pride in providing friendly, reliable service to every guest.
• Flexibility with days, weekends, and holidays (typical in hospitality).
• You follow safe work practices and take care in how you do your job.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, bend and crouch, walk stairs while carrying items, shovel walkways, stand for extended periods, and work with cleaning products as needed.
