Front Desk Agent – Overnight Shift (11PM–7AM) Super 8 by Wyndham | Front Royal, VA $13.00/hour | Full-Time or Part-Time
About the Job
This is an overnight front desk position at a 63-room hotel. You'll be the only staff member on property during your shift. Most nights are quiet — that's not a selling point or a warning, just the reality of the job. If you work well independently and don't need a lot of supervision or stimulation to stay productive, this is a good fit.
Weekends are required.
What You'll Do
- Check guests in and out
- Answer phones and handle basic guest requests
- Resolve minor complaints or issues as they come up
- Set up a light continental breakfast before your shift ends
- Keep the front desk and lobby area clean and organized
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Complete any end-of-night reports or logs
What We're Looking For
- Reliable — this shift depends entirely on you showing up
- Able to stay alert and professional through the night
- Basic computer and communication skills
- Valid government-issued ID required
- Reliable transportation required (this is an overnight shift with no public transit options)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required
- Prior hotel experience is helpful but not required — we'll train the right person
Compensation & Hours
- Starting at $13.00/hour
- Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Full-time or part-time availability considered
- Weekend availability required
