Lecturer of Supply Chain Management - SUNY Oneonta

The Department of Business at SUNY Oneonta invites applications for a Lecturer of Supply Chain Management for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a one-year appointment with an anticipated start date in the coming months, and includes the opportunity to apply for a permanent appointment at a later time. This position offers the chance to join a collaborative academic community dedicated to student success and applied learning. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Supply Chain Management and related areas, and contributing to departmental service activities as needed.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Teaching undergraduate courses in:
  • Operations Management
  • Logistics Management
  • Project Management
  • Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Fundamentals of Management
  • And other courses as determined by departmental and school needs
• Providing campus and community service

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in Supply Chain Management and related areas.
• Potential to meet the Department's qualification criteria for AACSB standards, which may include scholarly academic, practice academic, scholarly practitioner, or instructional practitioner classifications.

Preferred:

• Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management or a closely related field.
• Experience teaching in higher education.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching in business programs that emphasize sustainability, management principles, and preparation of students for success in a global business environment.
• Current research activity or relevant professional/industry experience in supply chain management or a related field.
• Experience working with diverse populations and/or using inclusive or multicultural teaching pedagogies.
