Job Description:SUNY Maritime College invites applications for a Lecturer of Mathematics to teach courses at the Calculus II level and below, with the possibility of leading recitation sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to undergraduate education, effective teaching strategies, and the ability to support students in foundational mathematics courses.Responsibilities include delivering lectures, conducting assessments, holding office hours, and potentially facilitating recitation sessions to reinforce key concepts. Typical students are majoring in engineering, marine transportation, marine environmental science, data science and machine learning, international transportation and trade, or maritime studies, with the majority simultaneously pursuing a U.S. Coast Guard license.Other Duties and Responsibilities:
