Job Description:SUNY Maritime College invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Mathematics to teach courses in Applied Mathematics, or Statistics by the appointment start date. The primary teaching responsibilities will be: Precalculus, Calculus, Multivariable Calculus, and Differential Equations. Typical students are majoring in engineering, marine transportation, marine environmental science, data science and machine learning, international transportation and trade, or maritime studies, with the majority simultaneously pursuing a U.S. Coast Guard license.Candidates must show evidence of effective college-level teaching at the undergraduate level. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to undergraduate education, effective teaching strategies, and the ability to support students in foundational mathematics courses.Responsibilities:

- Previous experience teaching mathematics courses at the college level
