We need the professional services of a Web Administrator to manage, maintain, and design new functionalities for company websites.
The individual will be responsible for the below job duties and responsibilities (100% of time, 40 hours/week):
1. Manage and maintain company website, ensuring that it is up-to-date, properly functioning, and visually appealing. (15% of time, 6 hours/week)
2. Regularly monitor website performance, conduct audits, and implement necessary improvements to ensure optimal speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience. (10% of time, 4 hours/week)
3. Collaborate with web developers to implement website enhancements, updates, and new features as needed. (10% of time, 4 hours/week)
4. Perform regular backups of the website and maintain a disaster recovery plan to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime. (10% of time, 4 hours/week)
5. Optimize website content, metadata, and URLs for search engines to improve organic search rankings and drive more traffic to the website. (10% of time, 4 hours/week)
6. Monitor website analytics and generate reports to track key performance indicators, such as traffic, conversion rates, and user engagement. (10% of time, 4 hours/week)
7. Ensure website security by implementing appropriate measures, such as SSL certificates, firewalls, and regular vulnerability scanning. (10% of time, 4 hours/week)
8. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, such as broken links, error messages, and usability problems. (10% of time, 4 hours/week)
9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in web administration and make recommendations for continuous improvement. (5% of time, 2 hours/week)
10. Provide support and training to internal users on content management systems, website maintenance, and best practices for creating and publishing web content. (10% of time, 4 hours/week)

Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
Skills: proficiency in web development languages, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and strong knowledge of content management systems, such as WordPress or Drupal, and experience in managing and updating websites using these platforms.
