About the Job:
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic FAE Director to lead our technical engagement with top-tier customers in the Bay Area. This role will not only drive resolution of complex design challenges for precision metal stamping and connector products but also build and manage a high‑performance FAE team. The ideal candidate possesses deep mechanical engineering expertise, strong business acumen, and established relationships with customer executives in GSM (Global Supply Management) and Product Development (PD) functions.
Job Descriptions
- Take lead in technical discussions related to DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and design proposals with customers;
- Interface directly with customers’ GSM or PD leadership to align on product roadmaps, secure design‑in wins, and drive joint technology planning.
- Leverage existing customer networks and industry contacts to identify new business opportunities and expand Sunway’s footprint in key accounts.
- Lead the communication between internal engineering team/project management team and develop schedule to meet build deadlines;
- Assist Key Account Managers in resolving technical issues;
- Active meetings with customers regarding project status/design/engineering issues/future opportunities;
- Occasional travel to Asia;
- Legal working status.
Job Requirements
- Language: Mandarin and English
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 10 years’ experience
- Experiences in working with top-tier customers is a plus
- Project Management
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Connector product related experience
Salary : $200,000 - $220,000
