What are the responsibilities and job description for the Document Scanner position at SUNTREE INTERNAL MEDICINE LLC?
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Medical Terminology Knowledge preferred
Medical Experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Sorting and organizing paper documents
Breaking down paper charts
Scanning paper documents into a computer Adobe program
Saving electronic files into the correct location
Tagging electronic files in EMR system
Reviewing incoming faxes and sorting them to the correct folders.
Abilities:
High-level of multi-tasking
Time management skills
High attention to detail
Team player
Physical Requirements:
Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting of patients, manual and finger dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
Requires sitting for extensive periods of time
Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
Requires corrected vision, hearing, and speech within normal ranges
Requires working under stressful conditions
