Position Purpose
The Boat Captain is responsible for the operation and safety of the property’s vessel. This person should work in a safe manner consistence with USCG regulations. Daily maintenance inspections to ensure vessel operates correctly, in addition to having a high level of customer service to the people who are aboard the vessel. You should be able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates vessels following established Coast Guard regulations and Company guidelines
- Keep accurate record of tender occupancies, coast guard and maintenance logs
- Coordinate line-handling when coming to dock, anchoring, deck maintenance and safety
- 100 Ton license required
- Enrolled in APCA Drug Consortium
- Strong knowledge of boating
- Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season
- Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds
- Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
- Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.
