We are seeking an experienced Buyer who brings strong procurement discipline, supplier-management experience, and comfort working within quality and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities
- Execute and manage purchase orders (direct, indirect, services, and consulting) based on MRP recommendations and production demand, including new vendor setup.
- Monitor inventory levels and material shortages; proactively mitigate supply risks to support manufacturing schedules.
- Analyze BOMs, delivery schedules, and inventory data to resolve material issues, including expediting or de-expediting as needed.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and performance expectations while holding suppliers accountable for delivery, quality, and cost performance.
- Maintain accurate purchasing documentation and reporting, and collaborate cross-functionally (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, etc.) to resolve material and supplier-related issues, including non-conformance and vendor returns.
- Maintain and manually update reports, tracking tools, and planning data when automation is not available.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or related field
- 4 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Demonstrated experience supporting internal or external quality audits
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Ability to make decisions with incomplete or evolving information
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: Pivot tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP
- Data analysis and report maintenance
- Strong supplier-management and negotiation skills
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems
- Requires excellent organizational skills
