About the Role
We’re looking for a Veterinary Referral Coordinator to be the key link between our hospital, pet owners, and referring veterinarians. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with people and animals, excels at multitasking, and enjoys a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for pet owners and referring veterinarians
- Manage phone calls, emails, and faxes while ensuring timely communication
- Schedule appointments and coordinate specialty services efficiently
- Handle medical records, prescription refills, and client inquiries
- Assist with administrative tasks to support our veterinary team
- Provide compassionate customer service to pet owners, including during difficult times
What We’re Looking For
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment with professionalism
- Experience in veterinary medicine or medical office administration preferred
- Comfortable with computers and learning new software
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
