FT/PT/Flex Security Officers - $20.50/hr - Redlands, CA

Sunstates Security is currently hiring Full-Time, Part-Time and Flex Security Officers at one of our new sites opening in the Redlands, CA area. Multiple positions and schedules are available; specifics schedules will be discussed during interview. This position offers a pay rate of $20.50/hr - paid weekly.

Anticipated start date August 1st, 2026.

Requirements:

• Current CA Guard Card
• Clean Motor Vehicle Driving Record
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Interior/Exterior Facility patrol
• Gate Access Control
• Customer Service experience
• Patrolling & de-escalation skilled required
• Dispatching or concierge experience preferred
• Prior security/military/law enforcement experience preferred

The scheduling parameters and expectations for a Flex officer are different from those of an employee assigned to a fixed post. For the Flex Officer position.:

• You will be trained at various posts and /or facilities based on operational need. While you may work at a specific post or location for several weeks due to need, this will not be a permanent assignment.
• Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) will vary based on operational need.
• You will be assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
• Some of your shifts will be scheduled in advance and posted with the new week’s schedule. Sometimes you will be called with short notice and asked to come in to cover for someone who is unable to work their shift.
• You are expected to work any shift for which you are scheduled in advance which falls within the availability described on this sheet.
• If you know you will be unavailable on an upcoming date or time that would normally fall within your availability described on this sheet, you must communicate this with your supervisor, so they know not to schedule you.
• For short-notice call-ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. If you refuse more than 20% of shifts for which you are called in, this could negatively impact your employment status with the company. "

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
