We are seeking a Reporting Analyst to join our team and provide critical support to the Senior Financial Analyst. The ideal candidate enjoys investigating discrepancies, validating information, and identifying the root cause of reporting and operational issues. This position will focus on supporting financial and operational reporting, and assisting with data maintenance and other special projects, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and availability of revenue and sales production information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years working in auditing, internal auditing, accounting, finance, compliance, reporting analysis, financial analysis, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Familiarity with Power BI is a plus
- Familiarity with Insurance industry a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail with a focus on data integrity and accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively and support cross-functional reporting needs

Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct investigative analysis, research exceptions, and perform auditing projects to identify anomalies, reporting inconsistencies, commission discrepancies, process inefficiencies, and business improvement opportunities
- Perform reconciliations and investigative reviews to ensure the accuracy of revenue, production, compensation, and operational reporting.
- Support the Senior Financial Analyst in responding to individual and agency requests and questions, as well as continued Power BI maintenance.
- Work with Management on the internal auditing efforts of the company's E&O Program
- Work with (the VP of) Operations on an ad-hoc basis
