What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at SUNSOUTH, LLC?
SunSouth, Carrollton, GA , is currently seeking a qualified Service Technician.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment, and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products.
- Participate in Service EDUCATE Training Programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
- Maintain condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
- Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures. JD Gator experience preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
- Ability to use Service Advisor.
- Basic computer skills
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- High School Diploma / GED required. Basic Service Technician Certification preferred.
- Associates Degree a plus as well as Forklift Certification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
- Ability to work extended hours and weekend.
- Valid driver's license / clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
