Service Technician / CDL Driver

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment, and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products.
• Participate in Service EDUCATE Training Programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
• Maintain condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
• Perform equipment setup at various locations.
• Perform basic product improvement programs.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
• Ability to use Service Advisor.
• Basic computer skills
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma / GED required. Basic Service Technician Certification preferred.
• Associates Degree a plus as well as Forklift Certification.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
• Ability to work extended hours and weekend.
• Valid CDL License required / clean driving record.

Summary

As a Service Technician / CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, while delivering equipment to various locations. This role requires strong driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and effective communication abilities. Relevant experience in freight management and load/unload operations. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will ensure timely deliveries and uphold safety standards, contributing to the overall efficiency of the Service Department.
