Overview
Join our dynamic team at SunSouth, LLC. We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to support daily operations. This position involves assisting with the cleaning, organization, loading, and movement/delivery of agricultural machinery, parts, and materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare agricultural equipment for service, sale, or delivery.
- Load, unload, and move equipment, parts, and materials safely.
- Assist technicians with basic shop tasks and equipment setup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment as directed.
- Organize inventory, stock shelves, and assist with receiving shipments.
- Perform yard maintenance, including sweeping, trash removal, and general housekeeping.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous general labor, warehouse, farm, or equipment experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
- Ability to work around heavy machinery and equipment safely.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the workday.
Work Environment
- Agricultural equipment dealership, service/parts department, or distribution yard.
- Exposure to dirt, dust, grease, noise, and changing weather conditions.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
