Job Description:

SunSoft Online is seeking a Data NetworkTelecom Technician for acontract-to-hire opportunity with anArizona state agency in Phoenix. Thishands-on role installs, repairs,splices, tests, and terminates copper,fiber, and coax cabling; installs andmaintains network and communicationsequipment (routers, switches, videosystems, security and access-controlequipment, public address systems); andschedules and coordinates installation,repair, and preventative maintenanceprojects with vendors, contractors, andagency units, including oversight ofcontractor resources on site.

Required (one of the following):

• 4+ years of Cable Technician experienceinstalling and maintaining digitalcomputer systems and peripheralequipment or telephone stationequipment and related systems,or
  
• 2+ years as a Lead Cable Technician
  
• (Technical training in electronics,telecommunications, or digital systemsfrom an accredited program maysubstitute for one year of experience)
  

Preferred:

• Certified Fiber OpticTechnician (CFOT)
  
• BICSI certification
  

Additional Requirements:

• Localto Phoenix; current city must be listedon resume
  
• 100% onsite; in-personinterview within 1 week of postingclose; start within 2 weeks of offer
  
• Must be eligible to convert to FTE; W2only, US Citizens and Green Cardholders (no sponsorship)
