Receptionist

• Sunshine Terrace Foundation** is seeking a part time **Receptionist**. Job Summary: The receptionist provides customer support to residents & families, and assists in office operations at the Sunshine Terrace Skilled Nursing Facility.

• Essential Duties, Responsibilities, & Requirements** include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
• Greets guests, families, and visitors
• Answers and directs phone calls
• Assembles information packets about the facility and services provided
• Sorts mail
• Assists with correspondence
• Supports administrative projects
• Maintains balance of resident trust funds
• Upholds patient and company confidentiality at all times
• Follows all organizational policy and procedures at all times
• Requires excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Requires basic experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Previous receptionist experience preferred
  
  

**Marginal Requirements**

• Schedules care conferences with residents and families
• Provides tours of the facility to prospective residents and families on a back up basis
• Performs various other duties
  
  

**Schedule**

• Typically works three four hour shifts per work week.
• Rotating Weekend hours are required.
• Rotating holiday coverage is required.
  
  

**Education**

• Position requires high school diploma or equivalent
  
  

**Experience**

• This position requires a minimum of six months previous customer service experience.
  
  

**Language Skills**

• Ability to read and speak English with people over the phone and in person. Ability to write routine correspondence.
