Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary restrictions.
- Ensure that all food is handled and served in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Deliver meals to residents in a timely and respectful manner.
- Work closely with dietary and nursing staff to ensure resident needs and preferences are met.
- Wash dishes, sanitize kitchen equipment, and help with inventory organization and restocking efforts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, respectful, and reliable.
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food safety is preferred (we'll train the right person!).
