Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Shift Lead to help us maintain the highest level of service and organization in our grocery store. As a Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations during your assigned shifts and be responsible for supervising and supporting our team members.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of grocery store associates by setting clear expectations, providing guidance, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Customer Service: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills by assisting customers, resolving issues, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the stocking and replenishment of shelves, ensuring products are well-organized, properly labeled, and fresh.
- Cash Handling: Manage cash registers, process transactions, and balance cash drawers accurately.
- Opening and Closing: Open and close the store, including performing opening and closing procedures, ensuring security, and safeguarding assets.
