This role offers growth into Lead Teacher and leadership opportunities for educators who want a long-term home.
Infant and Preschool Teacher | Sunshine Bright Academy | Morehead City, NC
Part-Time & Full-Time Positions Available
You became a teacher because you believe in what happens when a child feels seen, safe, and supported. You didn't sign up for fluorescent lights and clock-watching — you signed up for the magic. The giggles. The "I did it!" moments. The tiny hand that reaches for yours on a tough morning.
At Sunshine Bright Academy in Morehead City, we're building something special — and we need teachers who want to be part of it.
We have families waiting. We have classrooms ready. We just need you.
What You'll Actually Do Here:
Create joyful, hands-on learning experiences that help little ones grow into confident, curious kids. Build real relationships with families who trust you with their most precious people. Be part of a team that supports each other, celebrates wins, and never lets you figure it out alone.
You'll plan engaging lessons, nurture social-emotional development, keep children safe and thriving, and communicate with parents like the partner you are in their child's journey.
What We're Looking For:
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) — OR 5 years of experience working with young children
- NC Early Childhood Credential preferred (not required to apply)
- A genuine love for early childhood education — not just a job, but a calling
- Warmth, patience, reliability, and the ability to stay calm when someone spills paint on your shoes
What You'll Get:
- Competitive pay based on experience and credentials
- Transportation assistance available — we'll help you get here
- A leadership team that listens, supports, and invests in your growth
- A workplace culture built on respect, collaboration, and doing right by children and families
- Professional development opportunities to keep you growing
