High School Teacher - Sunshine Learning Miami

Sunshine Learning Miami is a small private K–12 microschool focused on creating a positive, engaging, and low-stress learning environment where students can genuinely enjoy learning. With approximately 80 students total and a 1:10 student-to-teacher ratio, we prioritize individualized support, hands-on learning, creativity, and meaningful relationships over high-pressure academics and excessive testing.

We believe students learn best through experiences, encouragement, curiosity, and connection. Our classrooms emphasize collaboration, experimentation, field trips, and making education something students look forward to.

We are currently seeking a full-time Elementary Teacher to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Teach in a small classroom setting
  • Create engaging, hands-on lessons and activities
  • Foster a positive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Support students academically, socially, and emotionally
  • Collaborate with other staff members and families
  • Help contribute to field trips, experiments, projects, and experiential learning opportunities
  • Adapt instruction to meet individual student needs

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children required
  • Teaching experience preferred
  • Degree, certification, or equivalent relevant experience welcomed

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
