Position Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of commercial landscape construction projects. This includes oversight of budgets, schedules, client communication, subcontractor coordination, and quality assurance. The Project Manager ensures profitability, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company standards and contractual obligations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of multiple commercial landscape construction projects simultaneously.
  • Create and manage project budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
  • Lead pre-construction meetings and post-project debriefs.
  • Develop scopes of work, negotiate subcontracts, and ensure subcontractor compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (design, estimating, purchasing, finance, etc.).
  • Ensure project documents (contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals) are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Monitor project progress and field performance, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, delays, and risk factors.
  • Interface with clients, consultants, and vendors to maintain strong relationships and manage expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Mentor and supervise Project Coordinators

  • Client Satisfaction Scores
  • Change Order Management (volume, approval time, recovery)
  • Subcontractor and Vendor Performance
  • Safety and Compliance Metrics

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale commercial landscape projects.
  • Proficient in construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
  • Strong financial acumen and contract negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, construction methods, and horticulture practices.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
