Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled installer to install and service commercial kitchen equipment in restaurants, hotels, schools, hospitals, and other food-service facilities . The Installer will be responsible for accurately installing products and systems according to blueprints and specifications, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This role requires proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ladders, and tape measures, along with the ability to interpret and follow detailed blueprint instructions. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional results.

Duties

- Install and assemble commercial kitchen equipment, including cooking equipment, refrigeration, sinks, shelving, ventilation components, and food-service fixtures

- Read and interpret plans, layouts, and installation instructions

- Measure, level, secure, and align equipment properly

- Connect equipment to plumbing, electrical, gas, and ventilation systems as qualified

- Use hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment safely

- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, electricians, plumbers, and customers

- Identify installation issues and recommend solutions

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

- Complete installations on schedule and according to company quality standards

- Travel to job sites as needed

Requirements

-Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, ladders, and tape measure usage

- Previous experience installing commercial kitchen equipment preferred

- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, gas, HVAC, or refrigeration systems is a plus

- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Professional communication and customer-service skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- OSHA or trade certifications are a plus

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
