Operations Manager, Sunshine Coffee

Sunshine Coffee is a fast-growing Miami coffee brand built on iced coffee, matcha, and good vibes. We launched with pop-ups and now operate retail shops designed for social, community, and culture. With plans to expand across Miami and South Florida in the next 6–12 months, we’re looking for a Unit Manager to run the day-to-day operations of one of our flagship locations.

This role is 40% soulful leader and 60% process-driven operator: someone who cares deeply about people and hospitality but is equally sharp on systems, numbers, and results.

The Unit Manager owns the daily shop experience. You are hands-on with your team, setting the tone for hospitality, consistency, and operational excellence. You thrive in fast-paced environments, love building culture, and know how to balance being approachable with being accountable.

• Lead and inspire your shop team to deliver warm, consistent Sunshine Coffee hospitality every day.
• Run day-to-day operations including opening/closing, scheduling, inventory management, ordering, and cash handling.
• Ensure smooth execution of products and service standards—every Miami Iced and matcha should shine.
• Monitor guest feedback and quickly resolve issues to create a loyal base of regulars.
• Coach, train, and motivate team members to grow, improve, and hit targets.
• Partner with the founding team to implement new initiatives, products, and processes.
• Keep a tight handle on labor, COGS, and other controllables to maximize profitability.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment for guests and team alike.

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in high-traffic food & beverage, ideally coffee, QSR, or café concepts.
• Proven success managing teams, building systems, and hitting operational targets.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
• Strong business and financial acumen—comfortable reading P&Ls and managing costs.
• Passion for hospitality, team building, and delivering a guest experience that’s memorable and shareable.
