Duties

• Prepare and assemble a variety of baked goods, including pastries, and desserts with artistic decoration and attention to detail
• Work on your own and with a team to feed our wonderful community
• Assist in food production processes by measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene by following proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols
• Support kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, organizing supplies, and cleaning workstations regularly
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods in a fast-paced environment
• Contribute ideas for new menu items or seasonal offerings based on current culinary trends and customer preferences

Requirements

• No experience is required, however candidates must have a love of baking!
• Strong skills in food preparation, kitchen techniques, and food handling safety practices
• Knowledge of culinary principles including cooking methods, ingredient pairing, and presentation techniques
• Previous restaurant or catering experience is highly desirable
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $17.00 per hour
