Shipping and Receiving

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving operations, with a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against invoices and packing slips.
• Process outgoing shipments, ensuring that all packages are correctly labeled and documented.
• Utilize POS system to maintain inventory
• Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Organize products within the warehouse to optimize space and facilitate efficient order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders in a fast-paced distribution center environment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and e-commerce logistics is a plus.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical capability to lift packages up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require standing for extended periods.
