Assistant Manager — Sunshine Car Wash, Fowler Ave
Full-time | $50,000 – $65,000 per year (hourly pay plus bonuses) | Tampa, FL
Sunshine Car Wash is a family-owned car wash group in Tampa Bay. We are growing fast, and we are looking for leaders to grow with us.
This is not a desk job. You are outside, on the lot, running the shift with your crew.
The role
- Run shifts — set the pace, hold the standard, keep the line moving
- Coach greeters and tunnel staff on service, safety, and membership sales
- Own opens, closes, and daily audits
- Daily equipment checks, chemical levels, and work orders logged same-day
- Hit membership and revenue targets alongside your General Manager
- Interview, train, and schedule your team
- Handle customer issues on the spot, without escalating everything upstairs
What we need from you
- 1 year leading a team — car wash, quick service, retail, or hospitality. We will teach you the wash side.
- You lead from the lot, not the office
- Comfortable on your feet, outside, all day, in Florida weather
- Reliable and accountable. If you say it is handled, it is handled.
- Open availability including weekends
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
