About The Opportunity
As a Housekeeper, you will play an essential role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and team members. This position is responsible for maintaining resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, offices, wellness spaces, and other assigned areas while supporting community standards for cleanliness, safety, infection control, and resident well-being.
Essential Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, offices, and other assigned spaces.
- Follow established infection control and safety procedures to maintain a healthy environment.
- Ensure housekeeping supplies are stocked and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Provide friendly, respectful service to residents, families, and fellow team members.
- Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Assist in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere throughout the community.
- Complete assigned duties efficiently and independently while supporting overall community operations.
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and resident needs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, healthcare, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in senior living, assisted living, healthcare, or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Required CBRF Certifications: Standard Precautions, First Aid & Choking, and Fire Safety.
- Strong commitment to resident-centered service, safety, and quality care.
