Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Handle retail sales transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and handling areas
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service to create a positive café experience
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during cashiering and retail sales
• Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards
• Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar café environment with strong coffee knowledge
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and food preparation standards in the food industry
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings
