We are seeking a caring and attentive Patient Sitter to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide constant supervision and support to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents by assisting with daily activities, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Observe residents closely to monitor their physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes or concerns promptly.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, mobility, and meal assistance.
- Ensure residents’ safety by preventing falls, managing behavior issues, and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Support residents with cognitive disabilities such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease through engagement and reassurance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient observations, condition reports, and care activities using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Follow all safety protocols including patient safety procedures, first aid protocols, and HIPAA regulations to protect resident confidentiality.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, social workers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.

Pay: $13.00 per hour
