Overview
The Executive Assistant/Marketing Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative, communication, and marketing support to the Executive Director and Board of Directors. This position plays a key role in promoting the mission and services of SETD, enhancing community engagement, and ensuring efficient operations across administrative and outreach functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative, with a passion for public service and community mobility.
Duties
- Provide direct administrative support to the Executive Director, including scheduling, correspondence, and confidential communications.
- Coordinate meetings of the Board of Directors and advisory committees, including agenda preparation, meeting packets, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- File and maintain required meeting records as required by Oregon Public Records Law.
- Assist with preparation of board reports, presentations, and strategic planning materials.
- Research and assist with preparation and writing of reports, policies and procedures as requested.
- Prepare RFP’s and bid packages, reports, contracts and agreements as requested.
- Responsible for submitting annual marketing plan and budget.
- Attend training classes as directed.
- Other duties as requested
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience providing executive-level administrative and/or marketing support, preferably in a public agency or nonprofit environment.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (365) and social media management tools.
- Experience with website content management systems.
- Ability to work effectively with Board members, staff, government officials, and the public.
- Knowledge of public meeting procedures and Oregon public records laws a plus

Pay: $22.91 - $32.93 per hour
