What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales/Mktg Admin (1833) position at SUNSET DISTRIBUTING LLC?
This position supports the brand department by providing administrative and clerical assistance to the brand team and performing assigned administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Activate and manage new product launches within internal systems; develop and communicate product education materials for the sales team
- Plan and coordinate educational trainings for new sales team hires with General Sales Managers and Territory Sales Managers
- Communicate monthly sales performance updates to supplier partners
- Monitor beverage inventory for limited-time offerings to optimize availability and maximize sales potential
- Support supplier partners with product allocations and sample requests
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations to coordinate product transfers between warehouses
- Communicate pricing structures and product authorizations to sub-distributors
- Coordinate with Sunset’s transportation team and external partners for event-related deliveries and pickups
- Plan and coordinate internal sales meetings and company-wide meetings
- Review new supplier inquiries with Executive Leadership; coordinate introductory meetings, organize product tastings, and deliver structured feedback to prospective suppliers
- Monitor and track the marketing budget in collaboration with the Director of Brands & Marketing
- Coordinate the development and maintenance of external-facing price books in partnership with an in-house designer
- Manage the online ordering portal, including product availability, design elements, and promotional advertisements
- Coordinate truck wrap projects with the Director of Brands & Marketing, designers, Operations, and external vendors
- Design and manage company-branded apparel and coordinate production with external vendors
- Manage and maintain Sunset Distributing’s social media presence on Instagram and TikTok
- Support Sales Leadership with miscellaneous projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the beverage industry, with a strong understanding of sales and distribution, is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered for highly qualified candidates.
