Position Summary:
Sunseeker North America, Inc. is seeking a driven and relationship-focused National Account Manager to support and grow strategic retail partnerships within the Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) category. This role will be responsible for managing key national and regional retail accounts, driving sales growth, executing merchandising and promotional strategies, and serving as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams.
The ideal candidate has experience working with major mass retail accounts such as Lowe’s, The Home Depot, and other large-format retailers, along with a strong understanding of the outdoor power equipment industry, retail operations, and channel sales management.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and grow relationships with key retail partners in the mass retail and home improvement channels
· Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and market share objectives
· Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer support and responsiveness
· Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, supply chain, product development, and operations teams to support customer initiatives
· Drive promotional planning, seasonal forecasting, assortment planning, and new product launches
· Monitor account performance, sales trends, competitive activity, and market opportunities
· Conduct regular business reviews and present performance insights and growth recommendations to retail partners
· Support inventory management, replenishment planning, and demand forecasting activities
· Coordinate merchandising initiatives and retail execution programs to maximize in-store and online performance
· Travel to customer headquarters, trade shows, and retail locations as required
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred
· 3–5 years of account management, sales, or category management experience within Outdoor Power Equipment, hardware, lawn & garden, or related consumer durable categories
· Direct experience managing or supporting major mass retail accounts including Lowe’s, The Home Depot, Walmart, Tractor Supply, Menards, Ace Hardware, or similar retailers
· Strong understanding of retail sales processes, merchandising, inventory planning, and promotional execution
· Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and drive revenue growth
· Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/account management systems
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
· Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Experience:
· Knowledge of Outdoor Power Equipment products including robotic lawn mowers, lawn & garden tools, handheld equipment, or related categories
· Experience working with retail portals and vendor systems
· Background in seasonal retail planning and forecasting
