Job Summary
Seeking a Technical Engineer II to support and enhance enterprise analytics platforms for a large insurance organization. This role involves managing analytics infrastructure, supporting Python/R/SAS environments, AWS cloud services, automation, monitoring, and production deployments for 500 users.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support Python (Conda/Miniforge), SAS, and R analytics platforms
- Maintain Linux, Windows, and AWS-based analytics environments
- Perform platform upgrades, security patching, and production support
- Monitor server health, performance, and system reliability
- Support disaster recovery, deployment governance, and automation initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders
- Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting support
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Linux and Windows server administration
- Hands-on experience with Python, SAS, and R environments
- AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, AMIs, Terraform)
- Monitoring, scripting, and automation experience
- Experience with authentication/security tools and CI/CD processes
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience in enterprise analytics environments
- Knowledge of Git, GitHub, ServiceNow, and Agile methodologies
- Exposure to AI tools and modern development workflows
