At Sunrise Skilled Nursing & Rehab, we're looking for a compassionate and talented Beautician / Hairdresser to join our growing team! This is a wonderful opportunity for a licensed cosmetologist who enjoys working with seniors and wants the flexibility to create their own schedule while making a meaningful difference in residents’ lives.

As an independent contractor, you'll have the freedom to set your own hours while working in a welcoming long-term care environment where residents truly appreciate the personal care and connection you provide.

Your Role:

• Provide professional haircare services to residents including cuts, styling, and coloring

• Create a welcoming, relaxing experience for residents during salon visits

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of salon equipment and workspace

• Communicate professionally and compassionately with residents and staff

• Manage your own schedule and appointments independently

• Supply necessary cosmetology tools and products required for services

• Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control standards

Who We’re Looking For:

• Current Illinois Cosmetology License required

• 1–3 years of beautician or hairstylist experience preferred

• Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living setting is a plus

• Friendly, compassionate, and patient-focused personality

• Dependable and professional with strong communication skills

• Passionate about helping seniors look and feel their best
