Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for resident care in the community, managing and directing the nursing team to promote the health and wellness of the resident population.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other clinical providers to coordinate care and services for residents.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to healthcare and assisted living.
- Foster a culture of quality and safety within the community, promoting best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state license as a professional Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum two years LPN/LVN/RN experience; at least one year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred.
- Minimum of one year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
