Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in distress, ensuring immediate support and safety.
- Offer addiction counseling and support for clients struggling with substance use disorders.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavioral changes in clients.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients, including referrals to community resources.
- Engage in workforce development initiatives aimed at enhancing client employability and self-sufficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to services, including Section 8 housing assistance and Medicare resources.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program..
- Proven experience in crisis management and behavioral health settings.
- Strong skills in motivational interviewing and addiction counseling techniques.
- Previous supervisory or mentoring experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
