What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Front Desk Receptionist position at Sunrise Medical Management?
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, answer the phone , schedule appointments, and answer general questions in a professional and friendly manner
- Register patients, update personal and financial information , prepare charts and handle incoming/ outgoing mail.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls to clinical staff as necessary
- Verify Insurance eligibility, collect patient payments and handle insurance billing information
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendar
- Perform data entry tasks, including updating customer records and processing orders
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong telephone etiquette, ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Proficiency with computers and general office software.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
