Job Summary:
Sunrise Children’s Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, in partnership with Children's Heart Center of Nevada (CHCN), is searching for a Director of Adult Congenital Heart Disease. Minimal requirements include an individual that is board certified in pediatrics or internal medicine and either certified or eligible for certification in Adult Congenital Heart Disease. CHCN is the sole provider of congenital heart care in the state of Nevada, the program consists of 16 pediatric cardiologists, 2 congenital heart surgeons, 1 genetics counselor, and 1 NP.
Qualified Candidates: Minimal requirements include an individual that is board certified in pediatrics or internal medicine and either certified or eligible for certification in Adult Congenital Heart Disease. All applicants must have permanent residency status or be US citizens.
Serving the community for more than 60 years, the 834-bed hospital is Nevada’s largest acute care facility and Level I Trauma Center (Pediatric Trauma Level II) providing the Southwest region with high-quality, advanced healthcare services.
Signature programs include inpatient and outpatient Comprehensive cardiac and thoracic programs, the states only Congenital Heart Program, and inpatient and outpatient Neuroscience program with the Nevada Neurosciences Institute.
Sunrise is an accredited Breast Center, NAPBC certified and only accredited facility for the Commission on Cancer.
Also offering comprehensive programs for Surgical services including a robust orthopedic, neurosurgical and spine program, Burn and Reconstructive Center. Sunrise provides the highest acuity Women's services including maternity and high-risk obstetrics, a 72 bed Level III NICU, Urology services, Digestive health services, Robotics services, Dedicated Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, Full-service outpatient diagnostic imaging, and Rehabilitation services.
With the busiest ER in the community, Sunrise Hospital is the state’s first Joint Commission Accredited Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center, first and only Ventilation Rehabilitation program. Further, Sunrise's dedicated Pediatric ER treats approximately 50,000 children per year and is Nevada's first designated Pediatric Readiness Hospital.
