Job Summary And Qualifications

The Patient Transporter functions under the supervision of a first-line supervisor and performs delegated functions. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!

• You will transport patients from the patient room to the appropriate area by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed
• You will provide specialty beds as needed throughout the facility
• You will transport laboratory specimens for pre-admit testing
• You will transport crash carts to the pharmacy for restocking; assists the pharmacy in delivering medication during tube system downtime
• You will provide courier/mailroom support as needed; and exchange empty O2 tanks throughout the facility with full tanks daily
• Responsible for timely delivery and communication of delivery of remote telemetry boxes to clinical staff and monitor technicians
• Must be able to demonstrate iPad and iPhone competency within 30 days of hire
  
  

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred
• Current CPR certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Previous orderly or transporter experience preferred
• Will consider training candidate
