The Patient Transport Lead functions under the supervision of a first line Coordinator and is responsible for ensuring patient transporter/Telemetry Assists perform their duties in the absence of the department coordinator. - Responsible for delivering and placing remote telemetry boxes on patients using proper techniques demonstrated in their competency
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients served
- Demonstrates knowledge of principles of growth and development over life span and possesses ability to collect data reflective of patient status and report to registered nurse
- They must be able to demonstrate iPad and iPhone competency within 30 days of hire. Relieves each other for breaks
- Graduate from high school or high school equivalent program
- Six months supervisor or lead experience required
- Current Basic Life Support required
