Job Summary And Qualifications

The Medical Imaging Specialist III – Cardio demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in the department. The Medical Imaging Specialist III is responsible for providing cardiac ultrasound services. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!

• You will demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his or her age specific needs, and provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures
• You will provide cardiac ultrasound services
• You will participate in quality improvement initiatives as they relate to Echo Department
• You will provide clinical experience and training for students in the Echo Department
  
  

What qualifications you will need:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of a recognized 1-2-year non-invasive cardiology program with emphasis in cardiac anatomy and physiology
• Must be licensed by the State of Nevada
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Minimum one-year clinical experience in an acute care facility with demonstrated proficiency in cardiac sonography
• A.R.D.M.S registry eligible
• R.D.C.S in adult echocardiography and registry eligible in pediatric echocardiography preferred
