We are a clinician led company looking to grow our team of skilled and experienced nurses.
The LPN will be responsible for care of a pediatric patient in the child's home. This position will provide nursing services according to a plan of care and within the scope of practice for the nurse. The successful candidate will possess knowledge and experience with medically complex pediatric patients, great interpersonal skills, and a commitment to quality patient centered care.
Responsibilities:
Provides quality care that is dependent on physician order and that meets requirements for local, state, and federal regulations.
Demonstrate competence in performance of LPN clinical skills.
Recognize safety risk and implement prevention plans for falls, skin breakdown and injury.
Adhere to safe medication administration while preparing, administering, documenting and monitoring medications.
Demonstrate infection prevention behaviors, consistent hand hygiene, and use of appropriate PPE.
Accurately and completely document patient information and nursing care in the medical record.
Provide patient care by collecting, monitoring, and reporting information and responding to basic needs.
Demonstrate reliable attendance, reports on time and is ready to work at the beginning of shift.
