Dispatcher

Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintain all equipment at the facility in excellent operating condition while controlling maintenance and repair expenses

· Facilitate the movement of all products through the agronomy facilities efficiently and in a timely manner so as to provide excellent customer service.

·  Efficiently dispatch custom machines and delivery of all products on a timely basis, with no prejudice or bias, to best serve all Sunrise Cooperative Customers

· Work with Precision Farming Specialist to accurately and efficiently obtain soil samples

· Work with location Office Manager to ensure an accurate accounting of the agronomy department including billing, purchase orders, receiving reports, and monthly inventories

· Ensure all employees comply with agricultural regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Attend agronomic workshops, as directed by the Branch Manager, to increase knowledge of products used in crop production

· Project a positive image of the company to promote its aims and objectives (Supplier of Choice); and foster and enhance public recognition and acceptance of all its areas of endeavor

· Apply for temporary CDL waivers for seasonal employees

· Other job related duties will be assigned to or removed from the position as operational needs dictate

Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1.  Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

2. Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.

3. Ability to work long varied hours/days as business dictates.

4. Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

5. Class A CDL and Medical Card or the ability to obtain one
