Dietician Responsibilities:
Develop and implement personalized dietary plans for residents, taking into account their medical conditions, preferences, and cultural backgrounds
Monitor and assess residents' nutritional status, and make recommendations for improvement
Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure that residents receive comprehensive care and support
Conduct regular food assessments and make recommendations for menu planning and food service operations
Educate residents, families, and staff on nutrition and healthy eating habits
Maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Dietician Requirements:
The qualified candidate must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and be a Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist (LDN) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Prior experience in a long-term care setting or related field preferred
Strong knowledge of nutrition principles, food service operations, and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
