What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Coordinator position at Sunny Sky Products LLC?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze debit balances on customer accounts to determine legitimacy.
- Validate customer contract pricing, billbacks, and or chargebacks to ensure accuracy.
- Collect and recover customer over-deductions.
- Process credit memos and apply them appropriately to customer accounts and related debit balances.
- Research and resolve shortages, pricing discrepancies, damages, and other account issues.
- Perform collection activities, including outbound collection calls as needed.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts while participating in cross-training activities to support other functions, including Collections and Cash Applications.
- Complete additional projects and assignments as directed by the Supervisor.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- None.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Two or more years of experience in business administration, accounting, finance, pricing, data analytics, or a related field.
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
SKILLS
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookup functions, and pivot tables. Microsoft Access experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, mathematical, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy while handling a high volume of detailed work.
- Ability to effectively balance competing priorities and respond to high-priority situations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while organizing, prioritizing, and completing tasks proactively.
- Strong proficiency with personal computers and business software applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers.
- Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
